Bailey began SCS as one of Southport Christian School's first Pre-K students. She attended through 5th grade and graduated in 2007. Since SCS at the time did not offer middle or high school, Bailey attended public school. She graduated high school in 2015 in the top 5 of her class. She is now attending the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill double majoring in Journalism and Political Science. During her sophomore year, Bailey became a staff writer for The Daily Tarheel Newspaper which is one of the top leading student newspapers in the United States. At the end of her sophomore year she was promoted to assistant desk editor of the State and National News department of the paper.
